BACHELOR OF SCIENCE IN TOURISM MANAGEMENT (BSTM)

VISION

To be significant educational institutions actively and continually involved in producing graduates who have the knowledge and skills in addressing the problem of criminality in the country and the competence to meet the challenge of globalization in the field of criminology.


MISSION

To provide the community with professionally competent and morally upright graduates who can deliver efficient and effective services in crime prevention, crime detection and investigation, law enforcement and custody and rehabilitation of offenders among others.

PROGRAM EDUCATIONAL OBJECTIVES (PEO)

  1. Provide professional leaders and will be employed in management positions within tourism industry that can contribute to the growth and development of the sector.
  2. Students and graduates of the program will be sustainable tourism advocates.
  3. Can contribute to innovation and improvement within the tourism industry by developing new products, services, and technologies, enhancing the tourist experience.
  4. Demonstrate effective communication and interpersonal skills, collaborating successfully with diverse stakeholders in the tourism industry.
  5. Globally competent tourism professionals in the global tourism marketplace, adapting to changing industry trends and demonstrating cultural sensitivity

Graduates of the Tourism Management program should be able to:

PROGRAM DESCRIPTION

The tourism education will equip students with competencies that are needed to execute operational tasks and management functions in accommodation, tourism planning and product development, transportation services, travel and tour operations and other emerging sectors of tourism industry.
