Bicol College Strengthens Criminology Education Through NFSTI Collaboration

A new chapter in Criminology education is taking shape at Bicol College.

Representatives from the National Forensic Science Training Institute (NFSTI) recently visited the College of Criminal Justice Education (CCJE) to explore a future collaboration aimed at strengthening criminal justice education and training. During the meeting, leadership and faculty from both institutions came together to discuss shared initiatives designed to elevate the quality and standards of criminal justice education in the region.

The proposed partnership will provide BS Criminology students with enhanced practical training, industry-based learning opportunities, and exposure to modern forensic science practices. By connecting classroom knowledge with real-world applications, the initiative aims to better prepare students for the demands of the criminal justice profession.

Since 1969, Bicol College has remained committed to developing competent, ethical, and skilled Criminology professionals. This emerging partnership with NFSTI strengthens that commitment while opening new opportunities for innovation and professional development.

More programs, workshops, and training opportunities are on the way. This is only the beginning!
