Bicol College Elementary School Bags Awards in Asian Science and Maths Olympiad

Twenty competitors from Bicol College Elementary School participated in the National Round of Asian Science and Maths Olympiad 2025 last October 12, 2025. The team brought 1 Gold, 1 Silver and 3 Bronze medals, along with 13 Merit awards and 2 participation certificates. The awarding ceremony was held on November 9, 2025 at the University of the Philippines, Diliman, Quezon City, Metro Manila. Their impressive talent and hard work paid off in a spectacular way.

Leading was perfect scorer and gold medalist, Liam Audrey A. Dela Paz (Grade 5). Followed by Jin’ai V. Almendral (Grade 5) who earned a silver medal. A remarkable three bronze medals were awarded to Princess Geomy N. Hapin (Grade 4), Justin Clark N. Baldres (Grade 3) and Elijah A. Rubis (Grade 1). The Merit awardees are Matteo D. Domingo (Grade 6), Rafael Kurt D. Merdegia (Grade 6), Kurt Graylone Lotivio (Grade 6), Ferlyn Mae M. Adriales (Grade 6), Keziah Angel L. Bulgado (Grade 6), Kaydence Ic M. Domasian (Grade 6), Klark RJ B. Bautista (Grade 5), Aian Dyvon L. Vargas (Grade 5), Alianah Amara D. Ahmad (Grade 3), Mary Yasmaine C. Selera (Grade 3), Nate Jameson N. Noveno (Grade 3), Zion A. Sevilla (Grade 3), and Joaquin Thomas Mirandilla (Grade 1). And for participation we have Franzine Mae M. Mirabete (Grade 5) and Celestine Zoe Belle P. Dimaandal (Grade 3).

The Asian Science and Maths Olympiad (ASMO) is a competition platform designed to challenge and evaluate students’ knowledge in Mathematics and Science at their grade level. With the expansion of STEM education worldwide, students will be well-prepared with the skills to meet the science and technology challenges.

We are also delighted to announce that our gold, silver and bronze medalists will advance to the Asian Science and Maths Olympiad (ASMO) Final Round to be held in Bali, Indonesia this coming December 12-15, 2025.
